Abstract: This session will highlight key considerations when billing and coding for pediatric audiology patient care, with a spotlight on the new hearing aid services code set. Coding case scenarios specific to pediatric audiology will be provided as a resource.

Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this session, the participant will be able to list 3 considerations relevant to billing and coding for pediatric audiology patients.
Upon completion of this session, the participant will be able to compare and contrast coding options for visual reinforcement audiometry (VRA) and conditioned play audiometry (CPA).
Upon completion of this session, the participant will be able to describe the rationale for appropriately billing for bimodal hearing aid/cochlear implant or bone conduction hearing device visits using the new hearing aid services code set.
