Dr. Aaron Roman is an Associate Professor and Director of the Audiology graduate program at the University of Pittsburgh’s School of Health and Rehabilitation Sciences. Dr. Roman brings a unique blend of academic leadership, clinical expertise, and a deep commitment to advancing the field of audiology. He has served in various clinical and mentoring roles, led national committees within the American Academy of Audiology, and contributed extensively to audiology research and education. His current research focuses on auditory processing abilities in acoustically complex environments and among non-native speakers of English. Recognized with the 2024 Early-Career Audiologist Award, Dr. Roman continues to shape the future of audiology through his work in education, research, volunteerism, and patient care.
