Rebecca Lewis, AuD, PhD, is Chief of Audiology and Assistant Clinical Professor at the University of California, San Francisco. She leads UCSF EARS, a public-facing multilingual hearing health education and care-navigation platform, and is helping shape the broader UC HEARS initiative, an emerging learning health system approach to hearing care, education, and implementation. Dr. Lewis holds dual doctorates from the University of Washington and completed postdoctoral fellowships at Massachusetts Eye and Ear/Harvard Medical School and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center. She serves on the American Academy of Audiology Board of Directors and is Past Chair of the Professional Development Council; she previously chaired the American Board of Audiology and serves as a session moderator for the American Tinnitus Association. Her work focuses on hearing health literacy, tinnitus care, auditory biotechnologies, and practical models that expand access to evidence-based hearing healthcare.
