As Assistant Clinical Professor of Communication Disorders and Clinic Director, my roles involve not only clinical practice but also the academic and professional development of future audiologists. This dual responsibility has provided me with a comprehensive understanding of the skills required to meet the evolving needs of the dynamic healthcare landscape. My key areas of clinical interest are Diagnostic Audiology and Amplification throughout the life course. As Clinic Director of LSUHSC’s Audiology program, I have focused on designing and implementing clinical education programs that emphasize critical thinking and evidence-based practice. My areas of research have focused on evaluating the effectiveness of educational interventions through interprofessional peer teaching as well as assessing critical thinking skills among graduate students. I strive to be an active participant in the continual growth of our professional at the university, state, and national levels.
