Shelby is a fourth-year doctoral student at the Northeast Ohio Audiology Consortium (NOAC), and is currently completing her fourth-year externship at the Hackensack University Medical Center in Hackensack, New Jersey. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Speech Pathology and Audiology and her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish from Kent State University in 2022.

Shelby currently serves as Secretary for the national SAA Board of Directors. She has prior experience volunteering on the national SAA Chapter Relations Committee, and has served as Secretary and President of her program’s local SAA Chapter throughout her years at NOAC. Both in and outside of the clinic, Shelby works to ensure that patients from all backgrounds have equal access to hearing healthcare and other services that they need to succeed. Her areas of clinical interest include pediatric diagnostics and device management.
