Hugo Carvalho is a Brazilian audiologist and PhD in Sciences from the University of São Paulo. His research focuses on pediatric amplification, audiological diagnosis, and the clinical and educational use of remote microphone systems. He serves as a professor of audiology at the Centro Universitário do Distrito Federal (UDF) and works as an audiologist in Brazil’s public health system, providing hearing care to children and adults in underserved communities. Dr. Carvalho has also contributed to community-based programs such as Camp CHAT Brazil and has received a professional recognition award for his service to the population of the Federal District. His work integrates clinical practice, teaching, and research to advance accessible and evidence-based hearing healthcare.
