Natalee G. Mendoza is a third-year Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) student at California State University, Los Angeles. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics with a minor in Biology, providing a strong foundation in language science and the biological mechanisms of hearing and communication.
Ms. Mendoza has completed clinical externships at the University of Southern California (USC), Kaiser Permanente, and Children’s Hospital Los Angeles, where she gained experience in diagnostic audiology, assistive device fitting, and patient-centered care for both pediatric and adult populations. Her professional interests span the full lifespan of audiologic care, with a focus on pediatric and adult audiology.
She currently works part-time as a caregiver for elderly patients in a residential facility and previously provided care for her grandfather with Alzheimer’s disease. These experiences strengthened her commitment to compassionate, patient-centered healthcare and deepened her appreciation for the vital role of communication in overall well-being.
