Olivia Taylor is a third-year Doctor of Audiology (Au.D.) student at the University of South Dakota and is originally from North Dakota. She is interested in all areas of audiology but has a particular passion for hearing aids and real-ear verification (REAR). Olivia has gained hands-on clinical experience in hearing evaluations, hearing aid fittings, and outreach clinics, and has collaborated closely with speech-language pathology teams to support patients’ communication needs. She is dedicated to providing individualized, evidence-based care and plans to pursue a career that emphasizes both clinical excellence and patient education. Olivia is also involved with the HIKE Fund, which supports access to hearing technology for children with hearing loss, reflecting her dedication to community service and advocacy. Outside of academics, she enjoys spending time outdoors, including four wheeling, hiking, and camping, and supporting local outreach initiatives.
