Natalia Matteo, BHS (she/her/hers)

Doctor of Audiology Student
WashU Medicine

Natalia is a fourth-year AuD student at WashU Medicine currently completing her pediatric audiology externship at UNC Hospitals. She is deeply passionate about early identification and intervention, social determinants of health, and improving equitable access to pediatric hearing healthcare. Her clinical and research interests are rooted in a strong commitment to ensuring that children and families feel supported, informed, and empowered throughout their hearing journey.

Natalia has been actively involved with the Student Academy of Audiology (SAA) for several years and currently serves as Co-Chair of the Students with Hearing Loss Subcommittee. In this role, she works to develop accessible resources and create supportive spaces for students with hearing loss.

Outside of audiology, Natalia enjoys staying active — whether that’s a good workout, time outside, or trying something new. She also enjoys reading, soaking up time on the water whenever she can, and spending quality time with friends and family!
