Christina received her B.A. and M.A. in Communicative Disorders from the California State University Long Beach, and completed a predoctoral fellowship at the Mt. Home VAMC in Johnson City, TN. She received her Ph.D. in Communicative Disorders from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. Christina worked as a Research Audiologist at the VA Outpatient Clinic in Martinez, CA, where she coordinated amplification research. She is currently an Associate Professor at The Ohio State University where she teaches courses in introductory audiology and audiologic rehabilitation. Christina is the director of the Speech Recognition and Aging Laboratory and studies binaural auditory processing deficits in the aging and traumatic brain injury populations, as well as the effectiveness and efficacy of low-gain hearing aids for adults with functional hearing difficulties. Christina is a past president of the Ohio Academy of Audiology and an ASHA Fellow.
