President/Chief Scientist and Principal Investigator: Dr. Smith's journey in the healthcare and product development industries began at Central Michigan University, where he earned his B.S. and AuD. In 2008, he began a 14-year career with the federal government. During this time, he conducted IRB-approved research with 138 participants and presented the data at four national conferences. This solid academic and professional background laid the foundation for his current role as President and Chief Scientist at You Tune Hearing Protection. He manages You Tune HP's research and product development operations. The Department of the Air Force recently awarded Dr. Smith two Phase I and II Small Business Innovation Research contracts. Dr. Smith has two issued patents and two additional utility patents pending. Dr. Smith also owns a private audiology practice, So Others May Hear, and provides medical care to patients in the community.
