Courtney Baker, AuD, CCC-A, is an audiologist specializing in central auditory processing, aural rehabilitation, tinnitus, and decreased sound tolerance. She is an adjunct professor at Northwestern University and the founder/owner of her private practice, Hearing Brain Audiology, PLLC. Beyond patient care and teaching duties, Dr. Baker is actively involved in research and has contributed to several textbooks as an expert in CAPD and Tinnitus. She is an active member of the Illinois Speech Language Association (ISHA) and the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA). Dr. Baker is the Neuroaudiology & Central Auditory Processing topic chair for the 2026 ASHA convention, a role she also served for the ASHA 2025 convention. She also recently participated in the ASHA working group to create a Competency-Based Framework in audiology. Dr. Baker also serves on both the ISHA audiology and telepractice committees.
